Announcements

  • Welcome all brothers, sisters, and friends who are worshiping with us today.
  • This Summer, our church will be hiring two Community Outreach Interns to help plan and implement our various Summer programs. If you are a youth or young adult (aged 15-30) who is interested in this you can turn in your resume to Pastor Rob or a member of the council. If you have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to Pastor Rob.
  • We will be relaunching small groups at SCBC in the months ahead. A Christ-centred community is foundational for helping us mature as followers of Christ and this is a way to do that in a small group setting, building meaningful relationships, and growing your faith. If you are interested in taking part, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/pSTm6HQfujDpwAp97. Let Pastor Rob know if you have any questions about this.
  • The Parent’s appreciation Luncheon will be held after Sunday School on May 12. We will be selling meal tickets priced at $10 for adults, and $5 for kids (aged 4-12). Please purchase tickets from Alvin Chou as soon as possible to help us in ordering the appropriate amount of food.
  • On May 18th (Saturday), from 9:00 to 12:00 in the morning and from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon, the church will hold the Spring Clean-up Day and lunch will be provided. Please actively participate and fill out the form: https://forms.gle/RLuo1VCeTMjEZq3v6
  • Please register for the Wesboard Overflowing Women’s Conference by scanning the QR code. Ticket price is $45 and that will include a swag bag, Overflowing water tumbler, a day of worship, fellowship and teaching, AND lunch! Our theme this year is “Kingdom Come”. This conference will be on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Korean Baptist Church of Vancouver, 1005 Kensington Ave, Burnaby. Let Jessica know if you have any questions about this. The remaining details will be announced later. Early bird fee – Adult: $150, age 11 to college: $120, age 3 to 10: $70, age 0 to 2 (no bed): $0.

Offering is the joy-filled right and response by the Christ follower to the grace and goodness of God. It is gifts given back to the gift giver that are used under the Spirit's guidance for His Kingdom's work. We thank our Lord with these cheerfully given offerings.

We are now accepting in-person offering. You can also make your offerings online at Canada Helps or through the Tithely app. You can also directly e-transfer to [email protected]
