We are so excited for the opportunity to be worshipping together in-person once again! But as we return to this, we want to do so with care and that will require a shared commitment from us all. Here are the few simple steps that we will all follow to begin worshipping together again at SCBC.
A note as you and your family consider attending:
- If you are 70+ years old OR if you have not yet received at least one vaccination, we encourage you to wait a little while longer before attending. You are, of course, welcome as are all people, but we care about you and want you to consider that decision carefully.
- Secondly, for the month of July we will only be restarting the in-person worship gatherings. For Sunday School and Children’s ministry, we will be aiming to restart in August. For parents with children, this means your children must sit with you during the worship service.
Please start by reading the COVID protocols for all attendees. We will do our best to keep these up to date, as the government restrictions and circumstances change.
Register to attend here on our website. Ideally, please do so by Friday of each week.
On Sunday, before attending, do a final health check from home.
Confirm that you:
- Fever or chills
- Loss of sense of smell or taste
- Difficulty breathing
- Sore throat
- Loss of appetite
- Extreme fatigue or tiredness
- Body aches
- Nausea or vomiting
Check-in with Ushers and safety monitors when entering the church building through the front double-wooden doors. Presenting your ticket/qr code will speed up this process.
